Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria is growing. You will be able to work with different teams within the PHOENIX Group in Europe, being involved in projects related to implementation and enhancements of SAP, ERP, and CRM solutions, as well as initiatives in Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, OCC and Business Intelligence. You will have the chance to lead development of products and solutions that are diverse, visible, interesting, contributing to improving the public welfare and health. You will work in an international environment and culture with a constant exchange of onsite-/offsite knowledge.
We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team in Sofia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating international project teams in a multi-project environment.
- Define project scope, objectives, priorities, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution using Phoenix Pharma 3PM methodology.
- Drive and coordinate change management activities, ensuring smooth implementation and stakeholder adoption.
- Monitor project progress, manage deliverables, and provide regular, transparent reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, refine project scope, and optimize business processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's project management methodology, governance framework, and cross-functional processes.
- Proactively manage project risks, quality, and external vendor deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Key Requirements:
- Holder of academic degree, preferably a master’s degree in informatics, economics, or engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT project manager in managing “full-cycle” projects with an excellent track record.
- Certification in PMI, agile methods or similar is desirable.
- Applied specialist knowledge in the areas of IT applications/ERP and IT infrastructure, as well as a profound understanding of business models and processes (analog and digital)
- Experience in leading and collaborating with international, virtual teams in a multi-project environment
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- A proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to drive initiatives independently while fostering teamwork.
- Very good language skills in English, both spoken and written
- German language skills are an advantage
